DeWan takes bottom to start the third period. :15 into the third period DeWan escapes to tie the match 1-1. Flurries and alot of motion, they are both trying to find the shot that is going to land them a takedown. DeWan shoots in deep for a double leg with Brentzel countering, sliding around and bringing DeWan down to the mat for a takedown. Brentzel leads 3-1 in the third. Third period ends with a score of 3-2.
