An interview with Lawerence Beckman
To Lawerence Beckman, Hershey, Pa is a very familiar state. He has made the trip to Hershey four years in a row and is a three time returning medalist hoping to acheive something he has yet to receive and thats a Pennsyalvania Gold Medal. In regards to Clymer not making it here this year. Its a break Beckman said. Im glad to finally get a break that goes my way but I knew I was going to have to come down here and wrestle. Im gonna have a tough one tomorrow morning against Johnson from Central Columbia the number one kid ranked in the state. Long way to go I like to think I have the weapons to win this. I got beat in overtime last year. Im excited to wrestle. In asking about the loss to Clymer in the state team championships. He said the pressure was off and I got to the point in the year where I kinda put it on cruise control. He said that loss really made me open my eyes and realize hey its time to get going. From there on out I had to start focusing on what my dream is and thats winning the PA state championship.
