Joe Spisak continued his winning ways as he picked up a 13-2 Major Decision over Patrick Meyers of Penn Cambria. In winning his match I asked him the importance of winning the first round match. His goal was to come out and win the first round prelim so he was into the quarter finals. His day is complete and ready to rest up for the quarter finals tomorrow. Joe says it feels good to win the first round. Now he can go get some fluids in him and prepare for tomorrows match. The importance of winning that first round match is that you dont have to goto the consolation rounds and wrestle back because the best you can get is third place. I'm here for a state championship. Good luck to Joe on his quest for a state championship.
