Kemmerer brothers from Upper Perk side by side

In my years of coming to the PIAA State Wrestling Championships, I don't ever remember of seeing a set of brothers wrestle side by side in the same round of competition . Today in the quarterfinals Ryan and Zack Kemmerer of Upper Perkiomen wrestled on mats 1 and 3. Zack won by a hefty 14-7 decision over Erie Cathedral Prep's Jamal Lyons. Unfortuantly for Ryan, he came out on the short end of the stick suffering a heartbreaking 3-1 decision in overtime to Josh Roosa of Crestwood. What proud parents the Kemmerers must be.
